What are the steps for using the IBX system?
1. Make sure the natural nail is completely dry.
2. Evenly apply IBX Repair.
3. Gently heat with a 40-50 Watt halogen lamp.
4. Blot the nail to remove any excess.
5. Cure in the same lamp you use for your polish.
6. Thoroughly cleanse.
7. Evenly apply IBX Strengthen.
8. Repeat steps 4-6.
9. Evenly apply IBX Strengthen again.
10. Gently heat with a 40-50 Watt halogen lamp.
11. Repeat steps 4-6.
What is the difference between IBX Strengthen and Repair?
IBX Repair is an intensive repair treatment which targets breakages, splits and pitting. IBX Strengthen is a penetrating toughening agent that is applied underneath gel polish and works within the upper layers of the natural nail.
When should I use Repair and Strengthen?
IBX Repair should be used on clients with breakages, splits and pitting. It has a thinner consistency and is applied in thin layers.
• Seals and hardens the nail surface.
• Repairs damage and reduces surface white spots.
• Acts like double-sided tape to bond damaged areas.
IBX Strengthen is for everyone, as even the healthiest nails need IBX! It has a thicker consistency and keeps the nails hydrated and moisturised from within.

• Ideal for use on new growth before applying gel or acrylic enhancements.
• IBX Strengthen works within the upper layers of the natural nail, it’s the powerhouse of the system and can be used on its own without repair.
Can I use IBX under any Gel or Polish?
Yes, IBX can be used as a standalone treatment for the natural nails as well as being applied under gel polish. It can also be used alongside any nail enhancement system.
What is the IBX system used for for?
IBX is a two-part system and is a groundbreaking treatment designed to strengthen, repair and protect the natural nail. IBX penetrates the upper layers of the nail plate and, upon curing, locks in to create an interpenetrating polymer network (IPN) for internal reinforcement.
