All 12 of Summer by the Sea shades are available from 16.05.22 in both all-new P+ Gel Polish and Light Elegance Color and Glitter Gel, giving you the ability to complete any salon service with ease and deliver the ocean breeze to clients of all persuasions.
Lezlie McConnell, co-founder and co-owner of Light Elegance, says this release is the latest result of the company’s commitment to offering nail professionals with top-quality, versatile and responsibly-formulated products that make creativity in the salon fast and easy.
“The trend for Summer 2022 is filled with neutrals and pastels, but we’re really starting to see some bold, bright and complementary colors trending,” said Lezlie. “When you think of Summer you think of the beach, beach houses and oceanside vacations filled with beautiful colors. The beach and ocean offer such a wide spectrum of colors that allowed our color experts to let their imaginations swim wild with Summer by the Sea—all while nailing the fashion trends for this year.

● Catch of the Day: A light, cool mint green. This green has lots of white in the background, and has a brightness that makes the mint stand out and completes your Summer look with ease. Coverage: Opaque, Effect: Flat/Cream.
● Don’t Be Crabby: A rich, creamy red coral. This luscious summer colour is the perfect combination of red and orange. This shade adds plenty of vibrance to your look without screaming neon. Coverage: Opaque, Effect: Flat/Cream.
● Coral Cottage: A creamy, playful bright orange that could almost be called a neon. If summer were an orange, this would be it, and we know those trendy clients will love this bright shade. Coverage: Opaque, Effect: Flat/Cream.

● Sea Jelly: A bright-pink coral jelly. The slightest bit of pink pigment is the perfect background to pop the pink and orange glitter pieces and allows Sea Jelly to pair well with a wide variety of colours and styles. Coverage: Opaque, Effect: Glitter.

P+ Gel Polish is the latest HEMA-monomer free innovation from Light Elegance and builds upon the success of Light Elegance’s popular JimmyGel Building Base in a bottle, offering the same hard-gel performance in a soak-off system. Like JimmyGel, P+ Gel Polish lasts for weeks and incorporates a perfect blend of strength and flexibility formulated for the nail professional.
With both the health of the client and nail professional in mind, P+ is formulated to be a safer gel polish option and does not contain any HEMA monomer or common ingredients known to cause allergies in clients or nail pros. P+ is also 9-free, cruelty-free, vegan and gluten-free which makes it a gel polish nail professionals can be proud to use and clients can be proud to wear—safely, too.
